Luton Sixth Form College Celebrates Outstanding A-Level and BTEC Results Day 2024
Luton Sixth Form College is thrilled to announce another year of exceptional academic achievements as students receive their A-Level and BTEC results today. The Class of 2024 has demonstrated remarkable dedication, resilience, and academic skill, making the entire college and local community immensely proud.
A-Level Highlights:
- Overall Pass Rate: The college achieved an impressive overall pass rate of 94.6% for A-Level exams, maintaining its tradition of academic excellence.
- Top Performers: A significant number of students attained top grades, with 43.2% of students achieving a high grade.
BTEC/ Vocational Success:
- Outstanding Achievement: The BTEC students have equally excelled, with a 93.7% pass rate across all vocational courses.
- High Distinctions: A notable 46.5% of BTEC students achieved Distinction* or Distinction grades, showcasing their dedication and practical expertise.
University Admissions:
- Over 650 students from the College have secured places at prestigious universities, including members of the Russell Group, reflecting the high standard of teaching and support provided by the college
Principal and CEO, Altaf Hussain commented, "We are incredibly proud of our students' achievements this year. Their hard work and determination have paid off, and they have set a high standard for future cohorts. Our dedicated staff have also played a crucial role in supporting and guiding students through their studies, and we thank them for their unwavering commitment."
